For the most critically ill and premature infants who need continuous and intensive support, improvements in NICU care delivers the most advanced lifesaving technology possible and continuous training for NICU doctors and staff to give these babies a bright start.
Women in midlife face daunting new health challenges, and to help them navigate, this program will combine holistic research and real-time clinical patient care, a referral clinic, inspiring improved treatment options and better healthcare experiences.
For new moms struggling with mental health challenges, Canada’s first Mama Baby Mental Health Stabilization Program offers specialized support. This unit provides essential inpatient care, bonding, and nurturing skills to high-risk mothers and their newborns.
Research is critical to the future of healthcare. With funding from BC Women’s Health Foundation, the world-renowned Women’s Health Research Institute is igniting health research for women and newborns.
