This March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, stand with BC Women’s Health Foundation to #BreakTheBias because women deserve equitable access to the highest quality healthcare when, where, and how they need it.
Did You Know?
- Only 1% of Canada-wide health research funding is dedicated to women’s health.
- 50-75% of adverse drug reactions are experienced by women, yet many medications prescribed to women have only been tested on men.
- 70% of patients with “medically unexplained symptoms” are women and these symptoms are frequently + incorrectly linked to a psychological origin.
5 ways you can help #BreakTheBias this March
1. Attend Health Women, Healthy Companies
Attend our virtual event (March 8, 7-9pm), Healthy Women, Healthy Companies, which focuses on addressing the mental health challenges that women face in the workplace. You’ll hear from our panelists of seasoned professionals who are eager to share their experiences and learnings.
100% proceeds will support BC Women’s Health Foundation to ensure women have equitable access to the highest quality healthcare when, where, and how they need it.

When we uplift each other, we all win.
