Kate Furber is PwC Canada’s Vice Chair and Managing Partner, BC Region and a member of the firm’s Extended Leadership Team.
Prior to her current role, Kate most recently held the role of BC Region Assurance Leader. She has experience working with clients across a range of industries but specializes in working with clients in the consumer products, retail and technology sectors. She services both private and public clients providing broad assurance services including external audit, internal audit, controls advisory, governance advisory, and non-financial assurance.
Aside from client work, Kate is involved in training, recruitment and personnel development at PwC. She is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, is a mentor under the PwC Women in Leadership program and a formal coach to a number of partners and staff. She is an active member of the BC community, regularly speaking at events and serving on boards.
