Maria Zeldis is head of Legal at a Vancouver based international real estate company. Maria has focused her legal practice on the area of real estate, development and infrastructure because she enjoys building and supporting the communities where people live and work. She leverages her professional skills and knowledge to support her personal passion for helping children and families in her community.
Prior to joining the BCWHF Board, Maria was Board President of Blind Beginnings, a non-profit organization supporting children who are blind or partially sighted, and their families. She has also been a fundraiser for pediatric cancer research and the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
Maria is a proud parent to three children who were all born at BC Women’s Hospital. She is honoured to support BCWHF in its mission to provide the best health outcomes for women.
