ASPIRE REACH

A Bold Step Toward Eliminating Cervical Cancer Worldwide

Home | ASPIRE REACH

Cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable, yet it remains the leading cause of cancer death for women in Uganda. ASPIRE REACH is changing that.

On September 23, we held a webinar with global expert Dr. Gina Ogilvie as she shared the bold vision behind ASPIRE REACH, a groundbreaking and community-led initiative bringing life-saving screening and treatment to the most hard-to-reach communities in rural Uganda. Informed by research and care models developed here in British Columbia, the program reflects a proven approach to delivering culturally responsive care in low-resource settings.

ASPIRE REACH is powered in part by BC Women’s Health Foundation whose commitment to global women’s health equity has helped catalyze this bold international collaboration.

This session included a facilitated Q+A, with space for curiosity, connection and action.
