Changemaker’s Market will be hosted online via Auctria. Bidding will begin on March 14 at 7:00 AM PST. Bidding will close at 7:00 PM PST on March 21.
- Winning bidders will be notified via email.
- A BC Women’s Health Foundation (BCWHF) representative will be in touch by email no later than April 1, 2021 to confirm pick up or shipping details. In order to receive items, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that they may be connected via email with the donor(s) in order to arrange pick up or shipping.
- Winning bidders should check their junk/spam/promotions email folders if they do not see an email from BCWHF by April 1, 2021.
- The BCWHF has endeavoured to catalog and describe the auction items correctly, but all items are sold ‘as is’.
- BCWHF neither warrants nor represents, and shall in no event be responsible for, the correctness of description, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the auction item.
- No statements contained in the catalog shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. Items depicted are for illustrative purposes and may not be exactly as shown.
- BCWHF will not be responsible for refunds for items that the purchaser is unable to use due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, this includes companies that close for business.
- In accordance with Canadian Revenue Agency guidelines, items purchased in an auction are only qualified for a tax receipt when the purchase price exceeds the item’s retail price by 25% or more. The purchaser can receive a tax receipt for the portion of the auction purchase price exceeding the item’s fair value. Items deemed priceless (whose value cannot be determined) are not eligible for tax receipts.
- Reservations and arrangements for all trips, accommodations, and services are the responsibility of the purchaser and must be arranged with the donor(s) by the purchaser. Some items have restrictions and/or expiry dates. All items or services must be used within the time limit specified and according to the donor’s restrictions.
- Any bidder making a bid for an item acknowledges and agrees that their offer is an irrevocable offer to complete the transaction if they are the winning bidder. All sales are final and there will be no exchange or refund on items. All items donated are being sold “as is”. Some items have restrictions. BC Women’s Health Foundation does not assume any liability or makes any warranty for representations expressed or implied whatsoever in respect to auction items or services.
- All auction items purchased must be paid by the purchaser within 24 hours of the auction. By his or her purchase, the purchaser waives any claim of liability against the BC Women’s Health Foundation. BC Women’s Health Foundation is not responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of items or services sold.
- Due care has been exercised in writing the item descriptions, including all applicable restrictions. In the event of any discrepancy, however, the restrictions on the gift certificate govern the item.
